All residents should have received in the mail a notice from Victory Housing’s law firm about this meeting, seeking approval of a Special Exception for Housing for Senior Adults. Victory Housing is proposing to build a “90-unit affordable housing community for independent elderly residents (to be known as “Victory Court”).” The development approval process has begun and per the new city zoning ordinance, Victory Housing is holding an Area Meeting with the neighborhood on Tuesday April 28th, 7 pm, in the Auditorium of the Council Office Building (COB) at 100 Maryland Ave.

As stated on the home page, Victory Housing is holding a meeting for Courthouse Walk and South Washington residents to go over their latest plans. They are preparing to submit their formal application. They have provided the latest renderings of their plans, including tree locations and parking, and also a height elevation diagram relative to our townhomes and the Fleet St buildings.
